We’re all too familiar with the 15 second countdown. The panicked glance at the clock to see if you can fit in another, is futile. We both know you’ll still be there come 1am. It’s inevitable, you’re hooked. January. The perfect month to have a totally justified Netflix binge. Swapping the cheese indulgence for episode upon episode of magnificent gritty escapism.
And when it’s done, You have the agonising wait for the next season. Roll with me doll, let’s channel the vibes through our wardrobes to fill the void.

By order of The Peaky F****ING Blinders. The Outerwear choice here is key. Paying specific attention to the length, the simplicity in the detailing and a Wool in Navy, Charcoal or even Black will create that all too familiar silhouette. Layered with a long line knit to soften the edges and create another layer of interest to lengthen your proportions, teamed with the crispest of white cotton shirts and some great boots under a deliberately cropped tailored trouser. You’re onto a winner.

In our culture the arts, fashion, music, politics all evoke a reaction within each other. The fashion industry is so quick to respond to social trends and street style, and this series ignited probably one of the biggest reactions to TV since Deirdre Barlow was locked up!
‘Stranger Things’ attracted such a cult following, With merch hitting the rails of Topshop and alike. The retro vibes, 80’s references and a gripping Sci-Fi plot. If this was your bag, and you’re loving the chevron and bold colour statements it’s inspired go all in. Be as bold as you dare. There were very few fashion rules in the late 80’s. Embrace it.

Should you be a fan you’ll notice this look emulates that of the female members of the cast. Advocating prostitution I am not. Uh. Uh. Celebrating the style of the informants and their attitude. Absolutely.
If you’re not hugely busty you can really get away with wearing the shirt as slouchy and open as you dare, for the bustier among you tread carefully. The key part of this look is the collar bone not the boobs. Layer up the delicate chains and add a pop of 70’s glamour with a skinny heel and slim fitting jeans. A great look for a bad ass glamour puss as yourself.

This Zara Dress from the basics range is anything but.
The detail and fluidity of the pretrol blue fabric adds interest and detail to a look with little fuss.
Worn buttoned up underneath a loose jumper dress. Or, loosely buttoned and teamed with heels. Over leather trews, jeans, with over the knee boots, hi tops…. shall I go on? This dress lends itself to a great layering piece. In an on trend autumnal shade that will go with everything it has great versatility.
Beautifully styled on the site Zara, and a great piece. Good work Zara, Good chuffin work.
